How often does AI recommend you when buyers ask?
The AI Buyer Visibility Score measures whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity include your business when a buyer asks for suppliers like you, without naming you.
- One Score out of 100 on a fixed panel of buyer questions for your supplier category, the same panel every business in that category is measured against
- The rate behind the Score: how often you were named, and which competitors were named instead
- Whether AI describes you accurately, and where you sit against other suppliers in your category
Free. Emailed as a two-page report. No meeting required. No obligation.

Takes a minute. We run the rest.
Next working day delivery applies to UK suppliers to food and drink manufacturers who request before 2pm. If your business sits outside the sector we measure, we will tell you when you submit rather than send a score that means nothing. We do not share your details.
100% known. 19% discovered.
An established UK food ingredients supplier asked for its score. Every AI platform recognised the company when searched by name. When buyers asked for suppliers without naming it, it appeared fewer than one time in five. Across 27 buyer questions, AI named competitors instead.
Being known by AI is not the same as being chosen by AI.
Your company can be described perfectly when someone searches for you by name, and still be invisible when a buyer asks who they should consider.
Baseline measurement before any work was carried out. Company unnamed at its request.
Named in 19% of buyer questions (range 14 to 24% across four platforms). Category position: lower half of measured ingredients suppliers.
The overall Score combines five measures: presence, shortlist strength, accuracy, evidence and source visibility. The 19% is the presence rate; the Score weighs all five.
What arrives in your inbox
A two-page report, written for the person who owns the sales number. Nothing you need a technical team to read. It is the Score on your category panel: the same measurement the AI Buyer Visibility Audit starts from, without the question-by-question diagnosis and plan.
Your score, and the rate behind it
The Score compares you with other suppliers in your category. The appearance rate is the honest number: how often you were named when a buyer asked, quoted as a range because AI answers vary.
How you compare
Where you sit against the other suppliers measured on your category panel, the competitor average, and which competitors were named when you were not.
Whether AI describes you accurately
The accuracy component of your Score: how many of the claims AI made about your products, certifications and capabilities scored right, with the wrong ones quoted.
What it means
Half a page. If the Score is good, we will say so. If it is not, we will say which of the five components is costing you most. The question-by-question diagnosis and the plan to fix it are the AI Buyer Visibility Audit.
Who it is for
Businesses that sell into food and drink manufacturers and brand owners, where procurement, NPD, technical, operations and manufacturing teams are increasingly using AI to research markets, identify potential suppliers and compare capabilities before they make contact.
- Ingredient, flavour and additive suppliers
- Packaging, closure and label manufacturers
- Raw material and consumable suppliers
- Processing and production equipment makers
- Testing, compliance and specialist service providers
What it is not
The score measures one thing: whether AI includes you when a buyer is choosing. It is not a marketing audit.
- Not a traditional SEO ranking report. We measure whether AI includes you in supplier recommendations, not where a webpage ranks in Google.
- Not a mention counter. Being mentioned and being recommended are different, and we score both.
- Not a sales call in disguise. You get the report whether or not we ever speak.
- Not a guess. Every figure is measured on a locked question panel, with the platform, date and answer recorded, so it can be checked.
How it works
You request it
Company, website and what you supply. That is enough to place you on the right category panel.
We run the panel
The same fixed set of buyer questions every supplier in your category is measured on, across four AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity), repeated so a single lucky answer does not flatter you.
You get the report
Next working day, by email. We will follow up once to ask whether it matched what you expected. Then it is your call. No meeting required. No obligation.
Questions people ask first
Why is it free?
Because the measurement is automated and the questions are the same for everyone in your supplier category. Each Score also feeds the AI Buyer Visibility Index we are compiling for the food and drink supply chain, so we learn something every time we run one.
Will you tell me the questions you asked?
The free Score shows how often you appeared across the panel for your category, how you compare with other suppliers in it, and which competitors were named instead. The question-by-question results, the verbatim answers, the reasons you were left out and the improvement plan are part of the AI Buyer Visibility Audit.
What if my score is good?
Then we tell you it is good and leave you alone. A high score is a finding, not a problem to sell you.
Does this cover my own product questions?
The free Score uses the fixed panel for your supplier category, so it is comparable across suppliers in that category. A co-manufacturer and an ingredients supplier are not asked the same questions. Questions specific to your products, certifications and applications, the reasons you are missing, and the plan to fix it are covered in the full AI Buyer Visibility Audit.
What do you do with my details?
We use them to run the score and send the report. We do not sell or share them, and we will not add you to a list you did not ask for.
